Lynn Galbreath is a Detroit based artist who grew up in Argentina. Galbreath works in the mediums of oil paint, graphite, digital imaging, and mixed media. Galbreath has an MFA in Painting from Wayne State University and is a former recipient of the Creative Artists’ Grant from the Arts Foundation of Michigan and the Michigan Individual Artist Grant from Michigan Council For The Arts. She exhibits locally, nationally and internationally.

Galbreath is the Graphic Design Director and a Full-time Adjunct Assistant Professor of Drawing, Painting, and Design at Oakland University, where she has been on the faculty of the Art & Art History Department since 2000.

Prior to her academic career Galbreath had a very successful career as a Senior
Art Director working for several national agencies. She is currently one of the

Over the past ten years, Galbreath has taken many student groups to experience the art and culture of Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
